Owen Falk is a graduate student in the Chemical Engineering department at Stanford University. His interest in conservation was sparked by a project sponsored by the Stanford Revs Program regarding the preservation of a rare 1950 racecar. Through this project, Falk was able to combine an intricate understanding of modern chemical analysis techniques with a deep respect and admiration for historic objects. Falk strides to be a true renaissance man by seeking academic experiences that are at the intersection between multiple fields of study, and enjoys the innovative ideas that can be produced by drawing together experts in seemingly perpendicular fields.
