Before coming to Buffalo, Amanda was a conservation technician at the UCLA Library Conservation Center and the Academy of Motion Pictures Margaret Herrick Library, both in Los Angeles. She earned a BA in Art History from Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, in addition to a Certificate in Art Conservation from Studios Art Centers International in Florence, Italy. Amanda also spent time interning at The Huntington Library and has returned to UCLA Libraries for her third-year internship in book conservation.
