Christina Milton O'Connell is senior paintings conservator at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens. As the first paintings conservator on staff at The Huntington, O'Connell has worked to establish an interim paintings conservation space, carryout a condition survey of the art collections, and begin treatments of the most at-risk paintings in the collection. O'Connell is also co-curator and conservator on Project Blue Boy, the upcoming on-view conservation treatment of Gainsborough's The Blue Boy, scheduled to begin in September 2018.
