Moriah Ulinskas provides leadership, vision, and direct management of BAVC’s Preservation program, one of the only nonprofit audio/ video preservation programs in the United States. Ulinskas is also the chair of the Association of Moving Image Archivists’ Diversity Committee. Ulinskas holds an MA from the Interdisciplinary Arts Center at San Francisco State University and completed coursework in film and video collections and curation at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. Ulinskas has taught courses at the California College of the Arts, Otis College of Art and Design, and the San Francisco Art Institute. From 2007- 2011 she served as the Principal Investigator (PI) for BAVC’s two National Science Foundation funded projects at BAVC and is currently PI for BAVC’s National Endowment for the Humanities funded project “Quality Control Tools for Video Preservation.”
